Food Needed For Norwood Community 2024

How to help our neighbors in need

Norwood Baptist Church RI (NBCRI) has partnered with Norwood Elementary School as well as the Norwood Community to support neighbors in need.

Attached is a list of foods & items that are needed.

NBCRI supports people who need food in the following ways:

  • Families at Norwood Elementary School will be able to "shop" once a week for the items/supplies needed to help with food insecurity.

  • Support families within the Norwood neighborhood that are recommended either by the school, church members, or the Norwood Boys & Girls Clubs. Families are then vetted.

In addition to the list below, NBCRI is also in need of gift cards so families can pick up fresh items.

Should you have food/gift cards that need to be dropped off, please contact the church to make arrangements with our mission team. (401) 941-7040

Gift cards can be placed in the mailbox located at the front double doors of the church or you may bring gift cards on Sunday morning and slide them under the office doors.

Food items being dropped off Sunday mornings can be placed in the wagon located in Trinity Hall. (Back door entrance) or you may call the office to make other arrangements. (401) 941-7040.
