As we move into 2021 we will continue to help the Norwood Elementary School Families and Norwood Neighbors as well as vetted individuals.
Attached is a list of foods & items that are needed.
We support people who need food in the following ways:
Students at Norwood will receive a "backpack" with items/supplies to get students through the weekend that are food insecure.
We support families within the Norwood neighborhood that are recommended either by the school, church members, or the Norwood Boys & Girls Clubs. Families are then vetted.
We also actively monitor social media for those who may be in need.
In addition to the list below, NBCRI also needs gift cards so families can pick up fresh items.
Should you have food/gift cards that need to be dropped off, please contact the church to make arrangements with our mission team.
Below is the list of items needed.
When shopping we also encourage you to look for items that have pull lids or can be cooked in a microwave. Most times, kids are cooking for themselves or others may be living out of motels/hotels. You are also invited to provide a good old fashion hand can opener.
